What you can expect to be included in the variety of polein2fitness sessions on offer

TASTER SESSION

 

You've heard about it, and maybe even read that celebrities can't get enough of it, but is pole fitness right for you???  A taster session is the way to find out!!

  • 1 hour session
  • opportunity to learn 3-4 moves/spins
  • plus 5-6 floor moves and transitional moves to link it all together into a short routine
  • warm up, stretch and cool down
  • maximum of 3 people per pole so plenty of pole time

A great way to try before you commit to a full course of lessons!

 

EXCLUSIVE GROUP TASTER SESSION

 

If you and a group of friends or work colleagues want to get together to do something a bit different, then book a taster session exclusive for your group and try pole fitness in relative privacy.  You'll be the talk of the office tomorrow!!

  • 1 hour session - longer sessions can be arranged as required
  • opportunity to learn 3-4 moves/spins
  • plus 5-6 floor moves and transitional moves to link it all together into a short routine
  • warm up, stretch and cool down
  • maximum of 3 people per pole so plenty of pole time

 (Note that these sessions are subject to a minimum charge and then on a per person basis - see Price List for full details) 

 

BEGINNER OPEN COURSE - 6 sessions x 1 hour

 

A carefully structured course specifically designed as a foundation in pole fitness.

  • opportunity to learn up to 14 moves/spins
  • plus a catalogue of floor moves and transitional moves used to link into short routines
  • warm up, stretch and cool down
  • strengthening exercises to complement and improve your pole work
  • encouragement to develop your own personal pole 'style'
  • maximum of 3 people per pole so plenty of pole time

 Once you have completed this course you will be ready for the Advanced Beginner level.

 

BEGINNER OPEN COURSE - 4 sessions x 1 hour

 

The shorter course will cover the foundations of pole fitness and is taken as the first 4 weeks of an existing 6 week course. 

 

As a result of the shortened format it will include a reduced number of moves/spins, floor and transitional moves, but is the same in all other respects.

 

IMPROVER/INTERMEDIATE OPEN COURSE - 4 sessions x 1 hour

 

Building on what you have learned in the Beginner Course, this course will consolidate your skills, hone your technique and take you to the next level:

  • joining the beginner moves already mastered into flowing combinations
  • opportunity to try to invert on the pole and associated inverted poses
  • pole climbing and poses
  • warm up, stretch and cool down
  • intermediate level strengthening exercises to complement and improve your pole work
  • encouragement to devise and practice your own routines to develop your creativity
  • maximum of 3 people per pole so plenty of pole time

 PRIVATE LESSONS

 

If your hectic lifestyle makes it difficult to commit to a regular day and time for your pole fitness then private lessons may be the solution for you.  You can choose One-to-One or may prefer to exercise with a couple of friends

  • Mutually convenient appointment times
  • Choice of Home Studio or your own premises (if suitable)
  • Session content can be tailored to your individual aims, progress and requirements
  • Solo or small group means more focussed attention

 PRIVATE COURSES - 6 x 1 hour or 4 x 1 hour

 

As with Private Lessons, the Private Courses offer convenience and focussed attention. 

 

Beginner and Improver/Intermediate levels are available. 

 

The overall general content will be structured to provide:

  • warm up, stretch and cool down
  • strengthening exercises to complement and improve your pole work
  • encouragement to develop your own personal pole 'style'

 Improver/Intermediate Private Courses will also include:

  • opportunity to try to invert on the pole and associated inverted poses
  • pole climbing and poses
  • strengthening exercises will be progressed to complement and improve your pole work
  • encouragement to devise and practice your own routines to develop your creativity

 The content will be adapted to keep up with your individual progress, needs and aims.

 

WORKSHOP SESSIONS - charged per hour of studio time

 

Once you have completed your polein2fitness courses you may want practice time to work on your moves.  The Workshop Sessions provide the studio time and the poles. 

 

Content is up to you - the Instructor will be there in a supervisory capacity, ready to provide advice, guidance, hints and tips - but you will be able to control your own progress and development and utilise your time as best suits your needs and wishes.  You may choose to work with a 'pole buddy' to share ideas and encouragement.

  • You are responsible for your own warm up and cool down/stretching
  • Instructor present for supervision, advice and guidance
