About Me

Wendy Litchfield - Fitness Instructor

My aim is to make a difference to the wellbeing and fitness of my clients - with enthusiasm, with education and with enjoyment.

Having had an active interest in my own fitness and attending the gym and studio classes over a number of years, I was inspired to train and qualify to teach.

Exercise to Music and Pilates were the starting points, then I added other disciplines and formats to my repertoire.

As an experienced professional fitness instructor I like to keep up to date with the latest fitness trends. During 2005 I started to hear about the fitness benefits of pole dancing so I decided to try it for myself.

WOW!!! What a great workout - different, challenging and FUN!!!

After taking lessons, then buying my own pole for practice, I enrolled on, and passed, the first ever accredited teacher training course and became an officially qualified pole dance teacher!

When people with movement issues began to consult me about One-To-One sessions to help with their spinal and mobility problems I realised that there might be a gap in my knowledge and exercise offering. My research led me to IMoveFreely Biomechanics. This was a 'lightbulb moment' so I completed the 3 part program and have since helped numerous clients to understand their problems and to work with them to develop a bespoke exercise /stretch / release routine to get them moving more comfortably and with the knowledge to manage their problems more effectively.

I am very proud to say that by using this varied fitness knowledge and practical teaching skills I can now bring the benefits of personal fitness to you!!
